What Went Wrong?
Nachi is a town in Enugu State of Nigeria.
Sometime around 2014, there were claims that a stream in the town is able to cure all kinds of diseases. People were trooping to the stream to have bath or collect water, in order to be cured.
Some people claimed that Rev. Fr. Mbaka has visited the stream and confirmed as it good. Whether Father Mbaka actually visited the stream or not is a statement that still needs to be confirmed.
Personally, I prayed and inquired about the stream from God. What I was shown was neither good nor encouraging. I was shown an idol that was standing at the north end of the stream. The idol was in the form of a human person and it was backing the stream and people. By this revelation from God, I discovered that the powers in the stream were not from God. This revelation reminds me what God had said earlier. He said the His people should always inquire from Him before doing anything or engaging in anything unusual.
After many days, the power and fame of the stream have gradually faded out. Today, people are no longer going to the stream for healing, miracle or deliverance.
